Acrobatic dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.
Acrobatic Arts is a unique mix of dancing and gymnastic disciplines. Acrobatic Arts is a multi-discipline approach and is also known as Acro dance or Acrobatic dance.

During the classes we focus on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of Acro dance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Simple and supportive progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from log rolls to the advanced dancer tumbling across the stage!
During dance classes your child will be taught and trained in skills such as flexibility, strength, and control to perform tricks, balances, and tumbling. Each class will begin with a warmup to target the different muscles and ligaments in the body that will be used during the dance.
The dance movements are founded in ballet, jazz, lyrical and modern dance styles. Acro dance movements are not restricted to these dance styles, but the complete absence of these styles will typically cause a dance to be categorized as something other than acro (e.g., breakdance).
Acro dance includes both upper and lower body strength which is required to perform acrobatic and aerial stunts in dance routines to support themselves and their partners sometimes. That’s why it is the best dance form to strengthen your muscles and improve overall health.
